Your Project. Your Success. The project is yours and you cannot be dependent on your implementation partner for success, you need to stay in charge, keep control.

One of our favourite roles in a Microsoft Dynamics project is when we can be the end-users advocate, and when we can participate in your project as if we were employed in your company. If you bring us in on your project then you have all our expertise at your service, even if you only have one expert on your team.

Of course we would recommend that we help you on your project from the beginning to the end, as in this way we can prevent the project going in the wrong direction. Though often we are not coming in until the project has already taken a wrong turn or one of the three key areas (on target, on time or on budget) has already failed.

But you can bring us in during any phase of your project.

Project Phases

Pre-Project

Not many end-user companies have much experience in selecting a new ERP system or a partner to help them during the implementation.

Dynamics Experts can help you to do a pre-analysis of your company in a way so that the analysis can be used in a RFQ (request-for-quotation) when contacting the different partners. Besides the process and roles analysis the work can include a ballpark estimate done by the Dynamics Experts, including estimated license costs.

We can also help you evaluate the different quotations and suggestions received by the partners.

Implementation Phases

After the partner has been selected the Dynamics Experts can continue on the project as the company's own experts on the steering committee and has the internal Project Managers working closely together with the implementing partner. Through our many years of experience we know what it takes to make a successful project plan.

Analysis Phase

Dynamics Experts pride ourselves with our ability to understand both the customer and the partners, thus being able to effectively communicate with both. In the analysis phase we are using this ability to evaluate the analysis work done by the partner to make sure that their analysis covers everything.

Development Phase

Managing the development and the customisations of the project is probably one of the most difficult phases. Even if you have an implementation partner that you trust very much, then unless they know your company exactly as you do, then it still may not be right for you. The fact is that most customisations can be done in many different ways. And the way your partner wants to do it might not necessarily be the wrong way. But it might just not be the right way for your company.

Training Phase

Training the users how to use the system is often done ok by most partners. But if you need more than just standard product training then it's not all partners who are able to provide you that. Often you are changing much more than just your system. To get the most return on your investment you should also adjust your organization so that it

Test Phase

Testing your new Dynamics system basically sounds like an easy phase. But in fact this is one of the most underestimated phases. Dynamics Experts can help you to create your test cases and manage the test.

Go-Live Phase

Going live is seen by many as the most important phase. It is especially the partners that like this date, as this is normally the day they can be requesting the last of the invoices. And yes it's a happy day when you can get the system to print out that first real sales invoice. But the go-live phase isn't really over until you have done your first month-end closing.

Post Go-Live Phase

The key content of the post go-live phase as recommended by the Dynamics Experts is really that you allow 1-2 months after the go-live to have a project follow-up conference, where the whole project is evaluated. An important thing here is to make clear what didn't work and especially what was promised by the partner, but has still not been delivered.
