Stay focused. Stay on target. Stay successful. After your initial Dynamics project has gone live, then your system will continue to grow, evolve and will be challenged daily by both your users and partners.

A Microsoft Dynamics system implementation is never finished. It continues to grow and evolve. Just like your own company hopefully does. The challenge now is to make sure that your system and your company is evolving in the same direction.

Dynamics Experts will be able to help you stay focused. It's very easy "to give in". Just to give the users everything they are asking for, just because a "smart" consultant told them that "everything can be done". Whilst that is true, then it doesn't mean that you should do everything, just because you can. Not only will it cost you money to get done initially, but every time you change your system your next upgrade will also become more complex and more expensive.

Change Management

The way we work here, is that we work closely together with your own "project team", which typically is the IT Manager, the CFO or Accounting Manager and one or two super users. Whenever they have a request from a user that they all think is a good idea, then they contact Dynamics Experts. We'll then evaluate your request (the better work you have done first describing the request, the cheaper it will be) and we will describe one or two alternative solution designs, including our estimate. Many times we will be able to suggest a work around only using the standard application, with no need for customisations.

With this design document you can easily get a quotation from your development partner, which will include nothing more or nothing less than what you're really requesting.

Upgrades

Staying on top of the upgrades and hot fixes coming from Microsoft can sometimes be difficult, and it can be quite expensive as well, even when you don't have to pay for the new software, especially if your system was not developed with upgrades in mind.

Dynamics Experts recommend that you don't wait too long with your upgrades. In general you should never be more than 2 versions "behind".

While the Dynamics Experts could easily handle your whole upgrade, then we prefer to help you with only the areas where you really need an expert. And that means we would love to help you with analysing your existing solution and existing customisations and work with you on describing which one to keep and which ones to remove or replace by new standard functionality.
